This Volkswagen Leasing Ad Is Terrifying

What one thing makes people want to lease a car more than anything else? No, even more than an inflatable gorilla… even more than an inflatable dancing tube man… yes, that. Grown men in low budget cat costumes/unitards crouching on dressers and pawing at things.
Apparently, VW thinks these disturbing, Lovecraftian images of frolicking furries and Cats auditioners who were cut upon entering the studio are what make people think “$159/month for a Jetta does sound pretty good.”
Seriously though, this is weird. How would you advertise VW leases?
