Sunoco Makes Cologne That Smells Like Burnt Rubber

If you’ve ever driven on a track, there are three distinctive aromas you’ll quickly become accustomed to: 1) smoking brakes; 2) gasoline; and 3) burnt rubber. Now, you can wear one of these familiar automotive scents, courtesy of the guys from Sunoco fuel.

According to the guys at GQ, the so-called Burnt Rubbèr cologne actually smells good. Slightly sweet, but with plenty of burnt rubber to transport you right to the track. You can find out more about the cologne over at the Burnt Rubbér website – and be entered to win a bottle for yourself by following the Sunoco Racing Facebook page.

Being the official fuel of Nascar, IndyCar and the National Hot Rod Association, I suppose it only makes sense that they’d do something like this. Though I’m surprised they didn’t go with eau de nitromethane.

(Thanks for the tip, Mike!)
