Modena, Italy performance and luxury tuner Ares Design has taken the already impressive current-gen Mercedes-Benz S-Class to a new level of grandeur and style.

The upgraded S-Class gets custom made body parts including a new front bumper, rear bumper, rear diffuser and side skirts, but the most prominent change is the dramatic new grille. Other upgrades include a sports exhaust system, 21-inch custom forged wheels, and ECU-based tuning to push the engine to 520 to 580 horsepower – topping out just north of the AMG S63, but still below the output of the AMG S65.

Inside, Ares offers a variety of material options, including hand-crafted custom Nappa leather with diamond quilted seat inserts, or a sport-styled variant with carbon fiber and black trim.
