The Top Five Best-Looking Cars (Per XCAR)

Most top five lists are pointless, like those Facebook quizzes that purport to tell you which Avengers character most resembles your personality. But like those Facebook quizzes, top five lists are also fun. The fine folks at XCAR put together this video listing the top five cars they’ve ever had the privilege to drive. It’s certainly a great debate-starter.

The XCAR team includes some rarities in their list that, if you’re like me, you never came close to driving. The BAC Mono, inspired by a Bjork video, makes the cut – described by the narrator as “looking like a stormtrooper’s runaround” – as does the BMW i8. XCAR also rightly singles out the Jaguar F-Type coupe, and the Alfa Romeo 4C, a sexy Italian job that I haven’t been lucky enough to drive… yet, I hope.

The most beautiful car I have ever driven is the Spyker C8, a gorgeous vehicle with airplane DNA. And their company motto is badass too: “Nulla Tenaci invia est via”—“For the tenacious, no road is impassable.”
