Given the fact that my daily driver is a Jaguar F-Type, you might say I’ve got a bit of a bias towards this instant classic British sports car. And in the two years since Jaguar first released the F-Type, it’s continued to up its game, adding all-wheel drive, electric power steering, torque vectoring, and even offering a manual transmission model for purists.
They’ve also increased horsepower, and have offered up special editions like the Project 7. Now, Jaguar is readying a 600 hp, track-optimized version of the F-Type under its high-performance SVR banner, which also gave birth to the insane Range Rover Sport SVR.
Naturally, along the way Jaguar has taken their latest beast out to the Nurburtgring to test it out. While this video by Ring frequenter cvdzijden doesn’t show the camo’d out car running anywhere near its near 200 mph top speed, it does give us an opportunity to listen to its beautiful exhaust note.
