Dodge Viper ACR Dominates Track Records

Dodge has unleashed the Viper ACR on racetracks around the country with one goal: steal all the track records it can. The Viper ACR has now racked up more track records than any other production car in the world.

The SCCA has certified lap records for the car at 13 road courses, including Laguna Seca, Road Atlanta, and Virginia international Raceway. Dodge built the Viper ACR for the track day driver who wants the most performance available in a car that can be driven to and from the track.

The track records were won in a 2016 Viper ACR with the Extreme Aero package delivering over 1700 pounds of peak downforce. With the Viper ending production in the next few model years, I wonder what Dodge will do to best the beast it has already created.
