Rezvani Beast X Packs 700hp into an 1850-Pound Sports Car

It has been over a year since we first caught glimpse of the Rezvani Beast. This impressive sports car started life as an Ariel Atom and then got more power and some sexy bodywork to make it into a more functional car. Now, Rezvani is back with a special and very limited edition of the Beast called the Beast X.

The change comes in a 2.4L four-cylinder engine that gets forged, beefed up internals and turbochargers. Whereas the original Beast had 500 hp, the Beast X gets a whopping 700hp. Buyers can choose a 6-speed manual or a paddle shift sequential transmission.

Only five Beast X cars will be made. Perhaps the biggest change is the price, which is nearly double that of the standard Beast with the X version selling for $325,000(USD). That puts it firmly in the Ferrari pricing realm.
