Leno Drives on the Dark Side of the Road

Growing up, I had a plethora of Hot Wheels cars, the coolest of them you could crash together and the doors would flip around as if they were dented. That said, I never liked the weird cars like the Darth Vader ride you see here. I always wanted my toy cars to look like real cars. Still, as a Star Wars fan, this one looks pretty cool.

Jay Leno has had the chance to spend some hands-on time with this life-size Hot Wheels car, and even gets to take it for a spin. The car’s exhaust note is distinctively evil, and there are lots of cool details to the build.

This isn’t the first time Hot Wheels has built a full-size drivable version of one of its cars, but this one is well timed to coincide with the release of The Force Awakens this week.
