1500hp Miata RADBUL Drifts into Our Hearts

I am a sucker for a Miata track car. Few things are more satisfying that putting a beat down on a Camaro or Mustang driver, from behind the wheel of a little roadster with 100 horsepower at the wheels. Even better is dominating just about all comers in a Miata with some real power.

Mad Mike Whiddett has some REAL power in his MX-5 “RADBUL” drift car. How much power you wonder, how about 1500hp. 1500HP! 1-5-0-0-H-P!! All that power comes from a four rotor, twin turbo 26B rotary engine.

The car is a drift racer, so it’s made to lose traction. Which is a good thing because I don’t think you could put too many of those 1500 horses to the ground if you wanted to do a hot lap.
