BMW M4 GTS Proves There Is a God – And He’s a Car Guy

Everything is awesome doesn’t only apply to Legos. For me, the BMW M4 GTS lovingly displayed in this video is 100%, no reservations awesome. It’s simply jaw-dropping from every angle, decked out in a perfect matte paint job BMW calls Frozen Dark Gray. This savage beauty sports a water-injected, three-liter twin turbo straight six which delivers 493 horsepower and 492 lb-ft. of torque. That translates to the pavement with a blistering 0-62 miles per hour jaunt of 3.8 seconds, while the M4 GTS top speed is electronically limited to 190 miles per hour.

Titanium quad exhaust, carbon ceramic brakes, adjustable dampers, custom Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and 19-inch front wheels and 20-inch rubber in back with rims finished in a viciously cool color called Acid Orange are but a few of the charms of this automotive stunner. The slimmed-down GTS drops about 200 lbs from the base M4, thanks to a boatload of carbon fiber and carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic, the lack of rear seats, and optional carbon fiber interior package. Only 700 of these babies will be built, and the 30 units slated for the UK will command £121,770, or about $171,000.

OK, so the price… not so awesome.
