Mercedes-AMG GT R Spied Pushing Hard at the Nürburgring

It’s not uncommon at all to see cars flying around the Nürburgring in Germany that are clad in weird camo to hide bodylines and logos. This particular car in the video below is all but certainly a development mule for the upcoming Mercedes-AMG GT R.

It has a large rear spoiler missing from the GT and GT S versions I’ve seen in public. The person behind the wheel is also driving it very hard. The engine sounds fantastic and you can clearly hear some scraping and rubbing going on.

It almost sounds like air being released by valves in the suspension. I don’t see the underside of the car scraping, but the suspension is clearly working hard. It’s cool to see a development car driven so hard, and boy does this car sound good.
