Targa Tasmania Driver Goes Off-Road in Lamborghini Huracan

I’ve done some stupid stuff behind the wheel of a car that didn’t quite go as planned. I’ve always just laughed it off and taken the ribbings from the folks who witnessed. Driver Tony Quinn was participating in the Targa Tasmania race and took his Lamborghini Huracán into the dirt for a bit.

In the video, we hear Quinn claim he did it on purpose, but I’m pretty sure he was just being sarcastic. You can clearly hear the tires screaming for traction as he tries to avoid the dirt bank. It looks to me like the realized he wasn’t going to stop or turn in time and decided to simply let the car roll over the banking rather than risking catching the edge of a wheel and rolling the car.

The good news is the car and its passengers were fine and they went on to complete the race.
