Hennessey 25th Anniversary HPE800 Mustang Hits 207.9 mph

Hennessey Performance has unveiled a wild performance car to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The car is the 25th Anniversary Edition HPE800 Ford Mustang. Limited to just 25 vehicles, it makes 804 hp and 648 lb-ft. of torque. It can reach 60mph in 3.1 seconds on its way to a quarter mile run in 10.7 seconds at 133 mph. Top speed is spec’d at 207.9 mph.

All this performance is thanks to the Coyote 5.0L V8 getting strapped with a 2.9l supercharger and a new fuel system among other parts. The car also has updated suspension but appears to use all stock internals on the engine. It’s hard to imagine a stock short block handling all that boost.

The car is tuned to run on 93 octane standard unleaded fuel and comes with a 3-year/36,000 mile Hennessey warranty. That’s great if you live near their facility in Texas. I can see massive burnouts in the future for whoever buys one of these cars.

Here’s a video of the slightly less powerful HPE750 Mustang strutting its stuff on a long straightaway:
