Porsche Macan Turbo with Performance Package Packs 440hp

Porsche has announced an even hotter version of its already hot Macan Turbo SUV. The new version is the Macan Turbo with Performance Package and it sits at the top of the compact SUV heap. The Performance Package option brings a recalibrated twin-turbo V6 engine making 440hp.

The SUV can go from a standstill to 60mph in 4.2 seconds and has 442 lb-ft. of torque. The Performance Package also gets a lowered sport chassis and grooved brake discs on the front that are 390mm, about 30mm larger than standard Turbos. Those larger discs also get six-piston brake calipers and Porsche Active Suspension Management is fitted as well.

The Macan Turbo with Performance Package starts at $86,445(USD) and is available to order now. As is always the case with Porsche, there are lots of options that will drive the price up significantly.
