Cadillac V-Performance Academy Teaches V-spec Buyers to Drive

Cadillac has announced that it is taking a page out of Ford’s book with a driving school offering for buyers of its high performance ATS-V and CTS-V cars. The school is called the V-Performance Academy and it will teach some basics to buyers of the car to help them have fun and safe rides on the track.

The school is located at Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club in Pahrump, Nevada. The 2-day program includes a variety of driver training. Drivers will get to test their skill on the skidpad, slalom and steering course, and there are recreational activities at Spring Mountain included. Attendees will get personalized coaching, track time, and post track analytics. The program includes three catered meals a day.

The V-Performance Academy is complimentary for buyers of new 2017 V-Series cars. Presumably, attendees will have to cover hotel and flights. Cadillac is also offering a one-day course for $995 that travels to courses around the country, called V-Performance Lab.
