The first of the MX-5 RF retractable roof hardtop sports cars were the Launch Edition offerings and only 1000 of those were available for purchase. To coincide with the first cars starting to roll off of the production line, Mazda has announced the pricing on the mass-production RF versions in the Club Sport and Grand Touring levels.
The Club Sport RF sells for $31,555(USD) with the 6-speed manual. The automatic Club Sport is $32,285 and Club versions get Bilstein suspension and a limited-slip differential. If you want the more luxurious Grand Touring version you will pay $32,620 for the manual and $33,825 for the automatic.
Keyless entry comes on Automatic versions and is a $130 option for manual versions. Club Sport buyers can add Brembo brakes and BBS wheels for $3400, while premium paint colors including Soul Red Metallic, Machine Grey Metallic and Crystal White Pearl Mica add $200 to $300.
US and European buyers will be able to start buying the MX-5 RF in early 2017.
