2017 RAM Power Wagon Price Announced

I was never been a big fan of trucks until the Ford Raptor came around. I would love to own one of those. The new gen Raptor starts just South of $50k, which isn’t exactly cheap. RAM has its own rough and tumble off-road truck called the Power Wagon, and the pricing for the 2017 models has been unveiled. RAM’s beast starts at a higher price than the Raptor at $53,015.

That is an increase of $1,155 over the outgoing model. It should have decent off-road chops with Bilstein shocks, five-link rear coil springs, and 33-inch tires stock. It even gets a Warn winch in the bumper, skidplates, and tow hooks. It’s got a 6.4L Hemi, with 410hp and 429 lb-ft. of torque, it’s got some good power, but still 40 hp and 81 lb-ft. shy of the almost certainly lighter weight competition from Ford.

The only options for the truck include a $4,495 leather and luxury package. Apparently, you can add much of the Power Wagon equipment to the 4×4 flavor of the 2500 Tradesman for $8,450, making that starting price $48,315, $10 less than the Raptor. I’ll be all Raptor all day at these prices.
