Nissan LEAF Hearse Lets You Stay Green to the Grave

If you want to do that last little bit to offset your carbon footprint on the way to the grave, this is it. This modified Nissan LEAF Hearse is dubbed the Eco-Hearse and is made by Brahms Electric Vehicles Ltd. This particular Eco-Hearse is owned by Leverton & Sons in the UK.

The design of the car removes the doors on the passenger side and replaces them with glass and a motorized deck that cranks out of the side. The glass makes the casket visible from outside the car, and the deck makes it easy to get hands on the casket. The design also means that the driver is right next to the deceased on that final drive to the grave.

The builder of the Eco-Hearse says that it has built three, with one as a demo it owns and two that were sold to funeral homes.
