Volkswagen Teases Arteon Grand Tourer Ahead of Geneva

The 2017 Geneva Motor Show is just around the corner, so brands are starting to tease some of the many vehicles they’ll be revealing at the famed auto exhibition. Volkswagen’s latest entry is a new car called the Arteon, a fastback mid-size vehicle slated to sit in the line above the stalwart Passat.

While the teaser pictures reveal little about the overall vehicle, we get a glimpse at the car’s modern and linear front end, and a bit of its C pillar and tail section. VW says the Arteon is an “Avant-garde Gran Turismo,” though it still looks pretty conservative in the grand scheme of things. They also say the interior will be quite roomy for both front and rear seat passengers – something that isn’t always the case is mid-size sedans.

The car is expected to replace the Volkswagen CC, which is slated to end production this year. All will be revealed in just a couple of weeks, but in the meantime, take a gander a the teaser pics.
