The 2018 Honda Fit Sport is a Cool Budget Car

My tastes in cars have changed over the last year or so. I used to be all in on sports cars, and I still love them, but I recognize they aren’t ideal for me and my family. Since moving to Colorado we are very active and what I really want in a car now is space to carry bikes, camping gear, and hiking stuff and a price that doesn’t eat up my “let’s do cool stuff” budget each month with a car payment.

I find myself lusting after the Subaru Outback, which I think means I’m a real Coloradan now. I also really dig the new 2018 Honda Fit Sport. It’s not the 500hp muscle car I used to drive, but it’s reasonably priced and the new Sport version looks cool. Plus it has space for a real family and some gear inside.

The Sport version is new for 2018. It sits between the LX and EX trims and has some exclusive body features that set it apart, with more athletic styling including a lower front splitter and a triple-hashed rear diffuser, both highlighted in orange.  Around back, there’s also a chrome exhaust finisher and Sport badging. The black-finish 16″ alloy rims help complete the look.

Across the Fit line for 2018, Honda has added two new colors: Helios Yellow Pearl and Orange Fury. White Orchid Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Milano Red and Aegean Blue Metallic carry over from 2017. You can also get Honda Sensing as an option on all Fit models, and it’s standard on the EX and above.
