2019 Bullitt Mustang VIN001 Sold at Auction
2019 | ford | ford mustang
Some lucky buyer bought the rights to own the very first 2019 Bullitt Mustang. The car rolled across the auction block at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction, and the hammer dropped for $300,000. The money raised will go to the Boys Republic school and treatment community for troubled youth. That is the very same school that Steve McQueen attended and graduated from.
We assume the car in the images at the auction is a prototype and not the car the buyer owns, since production hasn’t started. As for the production Bullitt, we still have limited details on the car. We have no idea what it will retail for normally or how limited of an edition it will be. We do know it will pack at least 475 hp and make 420 lb-ft of torque from its 5.0L V8 engine.
