2018 Mazda MX-5 RF Gets Modest Upgrades

Mazda is showing off the 2018 MX-5 RF at the Chicago Auto Show. For the second year of its production, there are some new features along for the ride. For starters, all MX-5 models now come standard with Advanced Keyless Entry. The Club Brembo/BBS package now has new color choices and heated leather seats.

LED headlights are now standard on the MX-5 Club and the MX-5 Grand Touring. Buyers of the RF Club with manual transmission get a limited-slip rear differential, front strut tower brace, and Bilstein dampers. The Club model also has standard 17-inch dark alloy wheels and black mirror caps, a front air dam, rear spoiler and red seat stitching. The Brembo/BBS package includes body sill extensions, rear bumper skirt, and heated black leather-trimmed sport seats.

Colors include Eternal Blue Mica, which replaces Blue Reflex Mica; Snowflake White Pearl Mica, which replaces Crystal White Pearl Mica; and Soul Red Crystal, which replaces Soul Red Metallic. The 2018 MX-5 RF Club starts at $31,910, and jumps to $35,680 with the Brembo/BBS package. The MX-5 RF Grand Touring starts at $32,750.
