2018 Chevrolet Tahoe Custom Midnight is Back in Black

Chevy has unveiled a stealthy murdered-out version of the 2018 Tahoe Custom. The ride is called the Tahoe Custom Midnight. The main difference between the Custom and the normal Tahoe is the removal of the third-row seats. With those seats gone, the Custom has 54 cubic feet of storage space behind the second-row seat. Buyers can get the Tahoe Custom Midnight in 2WD or 4WD, but both versions get off-road styling.

The Midnight package gets black wheels, a black grille, and black bowtie emblems. It also includes Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires and off-road assist steps. It’s got the same 355 hp, 5.3L V8 found in other Tahoes. Standard features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 4G LTE hot sport, rear vision camera, remote start, and teen driver mode – though who would let their teen drive this behemoth?

It also gets up to five USB ports, five power outlets, and a single 110V three-prong outlet for electronics. Options include an Enhanced Driver Alert package with Forward Collision Alert, Safety Alert Seat for driver, IntelliBeam headlamps with automatic high-beam control, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking. The vehicle starts at $45,995 and that price includes the destination charge.
