Audi Says Farewell to US Manuals with Limited-edition A4 Ultra sport

Starting with its 2019 models, Audi is killing off the last of its manual transmission cars here in the US due to slow sales. The small glimmer of positive news is that it is making a very limited edition run of A4 Audi Ultra sport cars with manual transmissions for US buyers. Just 40 of the identically-configured cars will be made, each packing a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Each car gets the Premium Plus trim with the fancy virtual cockpit, Bang & Olufsen sound, LED headlights, nav, and lots more. They also each have the Ultra sport package with dynamic steering, sport adaptive suspension, S line leather, sport front seats, carbon fiber bits, and special 19-inch wheels with summer tires.

The A4 Ultra sport is covered in an exclusive quantum gray color, which is currently available only on the 2019 S4/S5/SQ5 range. There is no word on pricing for these cars, but with all the features and the 40 unit limited run, you can expect them to be expensive as A4s go.
