2019 BMW X2 M35i is an Attractive Performance CUV

If you are the sort that doesn’t want a car, but you want something that looks good and has a bit of performance, BMW might have your ride. The 2019 X2 M35i is a sporty compact crossover/hatchback that packs the most powerful 2.0-liter twin-turbo engine that BMW has ever made. That engine makes 302 hp and 332 lb-ft. of torque.

BMW says that will push its so-called “Sports Activity Coupe” from a dead stop to 60 mph in 4.9-seconds. Power goes to the road via an 8-speed transmission with steering wheel paddle shifters. X2 M35i buyers will also get the first front axle M Sport limited-slip differential and launch control that BMW has fitted to a car with xDrive. The car also has a custom tuned M Sport suspension, and M Sport brakes as well. Top speed for the X2 M35i is 130 mph.

M Sport seats are an option in a slick red and black leather or all black. Standard sport seats come in black or oyster leather. M35i buyers get full LED headlights and fog lights as standard. Production will kick off this November, and pricing is as yet unannounced.
