All US-Bound 30th Anniversary MX-5 Miatas Already Sold

If you needed a few days to think about putting down the deposit on the just revealed Mazda MX-5 Miata 30th Anniversary edition, you are too late. Out of the 3,000 units being made globally, only 500 were coming to the States. It turns out that entire 500 unit run already now been spoken for.

Each of the very special cars is clad in Racing Orange with the same color on the interior as well. The Recaro seats have orange contrast stitching and orange piping. Each has a 30th anniversary badge for the dash with its unique build number.

The front Brembo and rear Nissin brake calipers are painted orange, and the car rolls on special 17″ forged Rays aluminum wheels. 6-speed manual cars get Bilstein dampers and a limited-slip differential. All cars get a Bose audio system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The only options were a soft top or retractable hard top and automatic or manual transmission. The soft top manual car started at $34,995.

There is a chance that someone will change their mind about the car and ask for their $500 deposit back, opening up a few of the cars in the future.
