2021 Toyota Tacoma Range Includes Two Special Editions

Toyota has announced the official pricing for its mid-sized Tacoma pickup. The range is vast for 2021, with the ability to spec out a truck in one of 33 different configurations. Returning trim levels include the TRD Sport and TRD Pro. Two new special edition trucks are available for 2021, including the Trail Special Edition, and the Nightshade Edition.

The Trail Special Edition is offered in 4×2 or 4×4 drivetrains and focuses on storage and style. It features black exterior badging, black seating with tan stitching, standard all-weather floor liners, dark gray 16-inch TRD off-road wheels shod with Kevlar all-terrain tires, and the grill from the Limited version. Trail editions also get a 120-volt power outlet in the bed and a lockable bed storage container with insulation and a drain plug on the driver side that can be used as a cooler. The cheapest Trail edition is the 4×2, starting at $34,005.

The other special edition is the Nightshade Edition, also offered in two- or four-wheel drive, and priced at $39,905 and $42,980, respectively. The Nightshade edition, just like the Sequoia Nightshade edition, is based on the Limited trim. It offers black leather seats, black exterior trim, dark smoke 18-inch wheels, black exhaust tips, black fog light bezels, and darkened-chrome grill insert.
