2021 Ford Ranger Gains STX Special Edition Package

Ford has announced a new STX Special Edition Package for the 2021 Ford Ranger. The package adds some new style elements to the inside and exterior of the mid-size pickup. Features include 18-inch black wheels, an eight-inch center touchscreen, SYNC 3 with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and updated interior features.

The interior also gets dual-zone climate control, silver-painted accents, and privacy glass with rear defrost. The STX Special Edition Package has an MSRP of $995 and can be added to any high XL trim Ranger SuperCab or SuperCrew pickup. It’s an extension of the existing STX Appearance Package, which starts at an MSRP of $28,045.

Ford will also bundle the STX Special Edition Package with the FX2 or FX4 Off-Road Package. Appearance packages have been very popular with Ranger buyers. Ford says that more than 75 percent of all Ranger trucks leave dealerships with one of the available appearance packages. A Ranger XL with the STX Special Edition Package would be a great base for someone wanting to modify a pickup to their tastes without breaking the bank.
