Jeep Cherokee Latitude LUX Adds Nappa Leather

Jeep has announced the addition of a new Cherokee model to its lineup called the Cherokee Latitude LUX. The SUV comes with a long list of premium features and standard safety equipment along with available 4×4 capability. Standard features include Nappa leather seats that are powered and heated, a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel, remote start, windshield wiper deicer, and Jeep’s latest Uconnect system. The Uconnect infotainment system supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

A number of standard safety features are included like forward collision warning with active braking, LED lighting all-around, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, backup camera, and rain-sensing wipers. Available options include a panoramic sunroof, nine-speaker Alpine sound system, and 8.4-inch touchscreen radio.

The SUV comes with a standard 3.2-liter V6 engine with engine start-stop technology and a nine-speed automatic transmission. An optional 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is available. 4×4 versions come with Jeep’s Selec-Terrain traction control system with five drive modes for on and off-road performance. 4×4 models also can disconnect the rear axle to improve fuel efficiency without requiring driver input.

The Cherokee Latitude LUX has an MSRP of $30,145 for 4×2 and $31,645 for 4×4 versions. Neither MSRP includes the $1495 destination charge. The Latitude LUX is available to order from dealers now as a 2021 model.
