A Lucky Few Can Now Order the 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat

Dodge apparently has it in its head to Hellcat all the rides it produces, and I’m good with that. The supercharged 6.2-liter Hellcat V8 has found its way under the hood of the Charger, Challenger, and Ram 1500 pickup, which isn’t even a Dodge. With the order books officially opening for the 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat, the supercharged V8 is now under the hood of a Dodge SUV for the first time.

The order banks are open now, and anyone wanting a Durango Hellcat will need to plunk down a minimum of $82,490. The Durango Hellcat has 710 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. Since it’s an SUV, it can also tow up to 8700 pounds. That means you can get your boat or travel trailer to the lake quickly.

Dodge will only produce the Durango Hellcat for a single model year, over a six-month window. The good news is production isn’t limited. Deliveries of the Durango Hellcat will start in 2021. Buyers also get a one-day driver training experience at the Bondurant High-Performance Driving School.
