Shelby Unveils the Super Snake Speedster – a Mustang Roadster

Shelby American has revealed its line of cars based on the 2021 Ford Mustang. This year, Shelby offers the Shelby GT, Shelby GT500SE, and Shelby Super Snake, all in limited production runs of 98 units each to celebrate Carroll Shelby’s 98th birthday. One of the most interesting of the collection is the Shelby Super Snake Speedster.

With the addition of the Speedster, the Super Snake is now available in both coupe and convertible forms. Both versions packing the same 825 horsepower supercharged V8. Buyers can choose manual or automatic transmissions. The Speedster edition converts the car into a two-seat roadster with a convertible tonneau cover. Speedster versions also get unique body stripes, floor mats, and door sill plates.

Options for the Super Snake models include painted stripes, a wide-body package, Penske track suspension, and a rearseat delete with harness bar. Pricing for the 2021 Shelby Super Snake Speedster starts at $133,785.
