Volkswagen has unveiled a new concept vehicle that is a customized enthusiast version of its 2021 Tiguan SE R-Line SUV. The Tiguan SE R-Line Black RiNo Concept was designed by Jamie Orr and incorporates a selection of equipment from the automotive aftermarket to demonstrate the versatility and agility of Volkswagen’s compact SUV.

The Black RiNo was outfitted for mountain biking enthusiasts and has a Thule T1 hitch mounted to the hitch receiver to allow drivers to take their bikes with them. The bicycle fitted to the Black RiNo Concept is a Marin Bikes Alpine Trail 2 in gloss black carbon fiber.

The customized Tiguan features a lowered suspension and Rotiform OZR 20×10.5 wheels with 50mm wider tires than normal. The lowered suspension is a custom height-adjustable coil-over system from Solo-Werks. The car also has larger six-piston brake calipers on the front. Other touches include Volkswagen’s own accessory aluminum sidesteps and a custom exhaust system from Borla. In addition, the cargo space has been fitted with several VW accessories for carrying mountain biking gear.
