One of the most important things the Subaru WRX always had going for it was its price. When the Japanese automaker revealed the 2022 WRX range, some fans were on the fence about the car’s styling. However, many of us have been waiting until Subaru announced pricing for the WRX line before deciding how we really feel about the car.
Subaru has now officially revealed pricing for the entire 2022 line, and the base model price has gone up roughly $2000 compared to the 2021 model. One piece of good news is that every version of the 2022 WRX can be equipped with the Subaru Performance Transmission (SPT).
WRX base models featuring the six-speed manual are priced at $30,100, and adding the SPT pushes the price to $31,950. Three WRX Premium models are available with different levels of features using the six-speed manual priced at $32,600 and $34,475. Adding Subaru’s SPT transmission to the Premium pushes the price to $34,650.
The WRX Limited is offered in a six-speed manual at $36,990, while the SPT version is $39,240. WRX GT is only offered with the SPT at $42,890. The only option package listed is Code 12, adding the Harmon Kardon speaker system and moonroof for $1875. The destination and delivery charge for all WRX models is $995 and is included in the MSRPs listed above. It’s worth noting that charge goes up to $1145 if you live in Alaska.
