Mini Cooper Brick Lane Edition Celebrates London’s East End Art

Mini has announced a new special edition Cooper S Hardtop called the Brick Lane Edition. The unique Mini was inspired by the area of London called the Heart of the East End, known for its street art.

Brick Lane Edition cars are painted White Silver Metallic on the outside with a contrasting roof in Soul Blue. The vehicles also feature black mirror caps and chrome trim. Graphics on the side of the car and the hood are done in Frozen Blue, Mint, and Soul Blue.

Mini says the graphics are meant to characterize traditional lines of bricks and modern colors from the art scene of Brick Lane. The exterior also has unique 17-inch black wheels, and a panoramic moonroof is standard. The interior has heated sports seats with Carbon Black Cross Punch leather and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Interior surfaces are piano black, and the headliner is anthracite. Other interior features include a universal garage door opener, a Harman Kardon premium sound system, a storage package, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Transmission options include a six-speed manual or seven-speed sport dual-clutch with either transmission available at no additional cost.

The Brick Lane Edition two-door carries an MSRP of $35,675, while the four-door has an MSRP of $36,675, not including an $850 destination handling charge. The car will be available at dealers in the US this March in two-door or four-door versions.
