2023 Mazda CX-50 Prices and Trim Levels Announced

Mazda has officially confirmed the pricing for its new CX-50 SUV. The automaker brags that the small SUV brings its signature driving dynamics into the outdoors, with some packages offering mild off-road capability. The entry-level version of the SUV is the CX-50 2.5 S starting at $26,800.

Pricing for the full line of CX-50 SUVs is as follows:

  • CX-50 2.5 S – $26,800
  • CX-50 2.5 S Select – $28,200
  • CX-50 2.5 S Preferred – $29,500
  • CX-50 2.5 S Preferred Plus – $31,940
  • CX-50 2.5 S Premium – $34,400
  • CX-50 2.5 S Premium Plus – $36,400
  • CX-50 2.5 Turbo – $36,400
  • CX-50 2.5 Turbo Premium – $39,550
  • CX-50 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus – $41,550

One key difference between the various models is the engine. All 2.5 S models utilize a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine making 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft. of torque. The Turbo models use a turbocharged version of that same engine producing 256 horsepower and 320 lb-ft. of torque when running on 93-octane premium fuel. If filled with regular 87-octane fuel, the engine produces 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft. of torque.

Both engine options utilize the same six-speed automatic transmission, and all versions of the CX-50 come standard with i-Activ all-wheel drive. All models also include the Mazda Intelligent Drive Select featuring sport, off-road, and towing modes for select packages. In addition, Mazda offers several premium paint colors ranging from $395 up to $595. None of the MSRPs mentioned above include Mazda’s $1225 destination and handling charge.
