SVE’s Supercharged Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Cranks Out 750HP

Customizer Specialty Vehicle Engineering is back and is taking the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 to another level by packing a supercharged 5.3 liter V8 under its hood. The engine in the Xtreme Off-Road truck produces 750 horsepower and 600 lb-ft. of torque. It utilizes a GM L83 aluminum block with ported high-flow cylinder heads and an ARP high-strength head and main studs to handle all of that power.

The centrifugal supercharger utilizes an eight-rib belt drive, and the truck gets an upgraded fuel system to supply the engine with all the fuel it needs to operate efficiently. Along with the supercharged V8, the trucks also get special graphics, custom wheels and tires, and special leather seating. The suspension features a four-inch lift but is still based on the standard Colorado ZR2 Multimatic DSSV Damping System. Its brakes have been upgraded with six-piston front calipers and 13.6-inch vented rotors.

The truck reportedly costs around $80,000, plus the cost of the donor truck, which has an MSRP of $42,600. SVE says it intends to produce only 50 of its 2022 Xtreme Off-Road trucks, and it’s only available on the 4WD ZR2 in crew cab with the short bed.
