Ford F-150 Rattler Package Launches This Fall

Ford has revealed details about a new trim for its F-150 pickup truck line for 2023. The Rattler package is an off-road trim built atop the low-end XL series truck. Rattler package buyers get some FX4 content, including skid plates, hill descent control, specially tuned off-road shocks, and an electronic locking rear differential.

Ford also includes all-terrain tires on the package. The most visible features of the F-150 Rattler package are the 18-inch painted aluminum wheels and Rattler badging on the fender vents. The truck also features Rattlesnake-inspired graphics and comes with a dual exhaust system.

The interior has onyx color seats and features burnished bronze accents. Stitching on the seats matches the trim on the instrument panel, and the overall theme of the vehicle is meant to be desert-inspired. Available exterior colors for the Rattler package include Oxford White, Avalanche, Iconic Silver, Carbonized Gray, Antimatter Blue, Stone Gray, Agate Black, and Rapid Red tri-coat at an extra cost.

Ford says the 2023 F-150 Rattler will go on sale this fall. There is no indication of pricing for the truck, and it’s worth noting that four-wheel-drive is not mentioned as a standard feature.
