Nearly All Hummer EV Pickup Reservation Holders Are Ordering Trucks

In a recent interview with CNBC, GMC global vice president Duncan Aldred talked about orders and reservations for the new Hummer EV pickup and SUV. According to Aldred, more than 65,000 reservations have been placed for the electric pickup and SUV to date. One of the most interesting facts from the interview is that about 95 percent of those who reserved the Hummer pickup have been converting the reservation to purchase.

Aldred also revealed that March was the best month for reservations since the month the electric pickup was revealed. So far, most reservations have been for the Hummer pickup because it was the first model launched. No information on the breakdown of the reservations between pickup and SUV was mentioned.

The first production Hummer SUVs are expected to land in early 2023. While GM is trying to expedite production, any orders placed now are still likely to be delivered in 2024, according to the executive.
