2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek Is Ready for the Trails

Nissan has announced a new addition to the 2023 Pathfinder lineup. The new trim is called Rock Creek, and it’s aimed directly at buyers seeking off-road capability along with rugged style.

The Pathfinder Rock Creek comes in four-wheel-drive only and has off-road-tuned suspension featuring a 5/8-inch suspension lift. Nissan fits the SUV with 18-inch beadlock-style wheels and standard all-terrain tires. Its black roof rack can hold 220 pounds, and it has an exclusive fascia and dark grille with a mesh insert.

The vehicle has special Rock Creek badges and an exclusive interior with leatherette and fabric seats featuring Rock Creek embroidery. The interior also has orange contrast stitching on the seats, steering wheel, instrument panel, center console, and door panels. Since the Rock Creek is aimed at off-road enthusiasts, the Around View Monitor has a special off-road mode.

A tow hitch receiver with a 6000-pound towing capacity is standard, along with second-row captain’s chairs and LED fog lights. Nissan also increased the power of the Rock Creek V6 over other models to 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque, a bump of 11 horsepower and 11 lb-ft., respectively. Pricing is unannounced, and the Rock Creek trim goes on sale late this summer.
