2023 Hyundai Palisade Gets a Refresh Inside and Out

At the New York International Auto Show, Hyundai revealed a refreshed version of its Palisade for the 2023 model year. The updated SUV has modest updates, including a new front and rear bumper fascia, new front grille, new headlamps and daytime running lights, new multi-spoke alloy wheels, and auto-dimming outside mirrors.

Hyundai also updated the interior, giving the Palisade a new instrument panel, gauge cluster, and audio interface. The steering wheel has been revised, and the seats have new surfaces and materials, including an available Ergo-motion driver’s seat. In addition, some models now get heated third-row seats, and the Calligraphy version gets acoustic laminated rear door glass. The technology inside the vehicle was also updated with a new 12-inch navigation screen with 720p resolution.

Hyundai also integrates a digital display center rearview mirror and Wi-Fi hotspot. USB-A ports were replaced with USB-C ports, and wireless charging has been updated to 15 watts. The engine powering the 2023 Palisade is unchanged from before – an Atkinson-cycle 3.8-liter V6 making 291 horsepower and 262 pound-foot of torque.

The Palisade is offered in two-wheel drive or with HTRAC all-wheel-drive configurations. All-wheel-drive versions also get a new Tow Mode. Hyundai has also confirmed a new XRT model that will bring dark finished 20-inch wheels, a more rugged-looking front and rear fascia and other darkened trim elements. Hyundai has yet to announce pricing for the 2023 Palisade.
