2023 Toyota 4Runner 40th Anniversary Edition Looks Like the 80s

To celebrate 40 years of production and more than 4 million cumulative sales, Toyota has announced a special edition of the 4Runner SUV highlighted by retro graphics and bronze wheels. The retro graphics have stripes in yellow, orange, and red running up the side of the vehicle. The special model also sports a retro-inspired grille in body color.

The model only comes in three colors: white, midnight black metallic, and Barcelona red metallic. Inside is special badging on the center console, bronze cross-stitch shift knob, and bronze stitching for the seats. 40th-anniversary floormats and logo on the seat headrests also come standard. Buyers also get a power moon roof.

The automaker plans to produce 4040 of the 2023 4Runner 40th Anniversary Special Edition vehicles for the US. There are a couple of mysteries about the model, including its pricing and exact availability.
