2023 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America Edition Is a Patriotic Porsche

Porsche has revealed a new version of the 911 specifically for the US market. The car is the 2023 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America, which incorporates a patriotic, but understated color scheme. It’s available exclusively in Azure Blue 356, inspired by the 1953 356 America Roadster color. The special 911 has a satin black windshield frame, RS Spyder Design Wheels in white, and body side decals in white with Guards Red accents.

Power comes from a twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine producing 473 horsepower and 420 lb-ft. of torque. Standard equipment includes Porsche Active Suspension Management Sport, Sport Exhaust, and the Sport Chrono Package. Optionally available are rear-axle steering and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes.

While Porsche isn’t saying exactly how many of the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet America cars it will build, we do know how much it will cost. The Cabriolet America starts at $184,920, not counting the $1450 destination charge. If you choose the extended interior package, it starts at $192,430 plus delivery.

The car will land in showrooms in the US in late 2022. Porsche says it will offer the car in a very limited number.
