Hennessey VelociRaptoR 1000 Boosts the F-150 Raptor R’s Power by More Than 40%

If you want to go fast anywhere and in any condition, you’re probably keeping an eye out for the latest creation from Hennessey. Wait no longer, as the company recently unveiled its VelociRaptoR 1000 Super Truck. And it is indeed stupid fast.

I’m letting that spelling slide because Hennessey did go out of its way to turn Ford’s Raptor R into a supercar in a truck’s body. Some of the powertrain components that got upgraded are the 3.8L supercharger, the fuel rails and lines, and the supercharger belt.

The high performance hardware combined with Hennessey’s tuning resulted in a truck that produces almost 1,030 horsepower. So you can scare wildlife with its 0 to 60 of just 3.1 seconds and quarter-mile time of 11.4 seconds at 122 mph.

Absolutely filthy.

Other upgrades include a custom front bumper with integrated LED lighting, a suspension leveling kit, front and rear suspension leveling, powered fold-out steps, 20″ wheels, and 37″ tires. Owners can also opt to get an upgraded brake kit featuring six-piston Brembo brakes.

Those racing-style seats look surprisingly at home.

The Hennessey VelociRaptoR 1000 is available for order now. It’s limited to just 500 units, each one rigorously tested and backed with a 3-year 36,000-mi warranty.
