2026 Hyundai Palisade Photos Reveal a Redesigned Exterior and Interior

Since it first broke cover in 2018, the Hyundai Palisade has been one of my favorite SUVs. After a modest refresh in 2023, the second-generation Palisade has been revealed. Late last week, Hyundai Korea released a handful of photorealistic renderings showing off the 2026 Palisade LX3, which give us an idea of what to expect when the upscale family SUV gets its full release announcement.

The updated Palisade is more squared-off than the current model and features a bold new grille that reminds me of one of those 5-blade razors – but in a good way. That 5-bar design repeats on the accent lights, which gives it a nice, cohesive look. The interior of the Palisade has always been lovely, especially in its higher trims. The cockpit rendering shown here is even better. It’s cleaner and more cohesive, topped off by a unified dual-screen setup like the ones seen in other recent Hyundai and Genesis vehicles. I love the plush, curved ends of the dash and what appears to be a good-sized shelf on the passenger side above the glove box. A column-mounted shifter has replaced the center console shift buttons, freeing up more space for the storage bin underneath. The overall look is very upscale and refined.

Hyundai has not revealed anything about the 2026 model destined for the U.S., but I’m guessing we’ll hear more in early 2025. Currently, the Palisade is only available here with a 3.8-liter V6 engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission, but rumor has it that the new model will have a 3.5-liter turbocharged engine (possibly the same one found in the Genesis GV80) and a 2.5-liter turbo and hybrid options in other markets. I wouldn’t be surprised to see both powertrain options offered in the U.S. to offer a broader price range and to provide a more fuel-efficient option.
