Volkswagen unveiled its I.D. Buzz Concept at this week’s NAIAS show in Detroit, and it is clearly meant to be the VW Mini Bus for today’s generations. This concept is an EV that is able to drive for up to 270 miles on battery power.

Chrysler is at CES 2017 showing off a new concept vehicle. The vehicle is called the Portal concept and it’s a futuristic vision of the everyday people hauler. The pure EV promises a 250 mile driving range per charge.

I’m pretty sure Subaru is trolling all the BRZ fans out there who have been clamoring for a proper STI version of the car. The normal BRZ has a scant 200 hp four under the hood, but it handles like a dream.

The BMW 1M Coupé is a very cool car, even if it looks a bit odd to my eyes. It’s sort of like a slightly smaller M3 with awkward proportions to my eyes. I don’t care at all what the car looks like when you tell me it’s been transplanted with the V10 engine from an M5.

Volkswagen’s Budd-e concept was a very cool looking ride, and gave hope to the faithful out there that a VW Microbus might come back to market. I know I was hoping for one with a normal gas engine under the hood (or in the trunk).

Up until now, there haven’t been many choices in the way of fully-electric SUVs or crossovers. In fact, the Tesla Model X is about the only game in town. It’s no secret that I think the Model X is downright hideous, so I can’t imagine plunking down over $100,000 for one, even if it is fast and has great driving range.

Chevrolet is showing a very cool concept at SEMA called the Chevelle Slammer. The customized 1969 Chevelle is designed to show off their new LT376/535 crate engines. While the shiny black muscle car looks fantastic, it’s really all about the engine and transmission.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the everyday Toyota Corolla. It’s a perfectly pleasant and functional daily driver that won’t break the bank. But a sports car, it’s not. At least not until now, with this awesome custom-built ride headed to SEMA 2016.

One of the concepts at this year’s Speciality Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show is a concept from Ram Trucks. It’s called the Ram Macho Power Wagon. Apparently it’s for people who don’t think that the Power Wagon is already macho enough?

Every year, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles prepares a few different concept vehicles to show off at the Speciality Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas. It’s a modifier’s dream, and the folks from Auburn Hills like to show off a few things that their designers are up to.

Henrik Fisker has taken to Twitter to tease a photo of his company’s next vehicle. We don’t have any details on the car yet, just this one dimly lit image. What Fisker is touting on the car is the unique door design. 

Hyundai has teamed up with automotive render and design house Gurnade to bring the Gurnade Veloster Concept to SEMA 2016. The car is much more focused on handling and track performance than raw power. It has modest engine upgrades with a cat back exhaust, ECU tune, cold air intake, and a blow off valve. 

Rolls-Royce has unveiled its Vision NEXT 100 concept, which predicts what the company thinks its luxury rides may be like in the distant future. The car, also known as the Rolls-Royce 103EX, is a bit odd looking by today’s design standards, with a front that is very high off the ground and wheels that are almost completely enclosed.

Swiss automaker Rinspeed has unveiled a new concept car that it plans to show off at CES 2017. The car is called the Oasis and it’s an autonomous EV for two meant to shuttle you around the city.

Most of the concept cars we see from Hyundai and its SEMA partners have turbos or superchargers. The Rockstar Santa Fe Concept is different from these other cars; it uses nitrous oxide to boost the power.
