Jay Leno: the 707hp Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

Jay Leno: the 707hp Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat
Jay Leno had the chance to visit with Dodge President and CEO Tim Kuniskis, who brought along the astounding 707 horsepower 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. Comparing it to his own 1970 Challenger with a 426 Hemi under the hood, Leno and Kuniskis point out the obvious heritage between the muscle cars, but technology changes over the past 45 years means they are like night and day.

Jaguar Ekes out Details on the XE Sport Sedan

Jaguar Ekes out Details on the XE Sport Sedan
We had a sneak preview of the new Jaguar XE Sport Sedan a couple months ago, but the car was wrapped in vinyl to disguise its lines. Jaguar has returned with a bit more of the vehicle, but they don’t seem to be too anxious to lift the veil entirely. Designed to compete with the BMW 3-series, the Jaguar XE is built with new aluminum-intensive construction techniques, with the high-strength alloy chassis providing both a rigid structure along with a supple ride with precise handling.

Review: 2014 Lincoln MKZ AWD

Review: 2014 Lincoln MKZ AWD
The Lincoln MKZ is the luxury variant of the Ford Fusion. Given the fact that the Fusion is one of my favorite mid-size cars in recent years, Lincoln has a pretty solid head start with the MKZ.

2012 Ford Focus with Martini Livery on Auction
The Ford Focus RS is one of our favorite hot hatches available today. It’s great fun to drive and more than capable on the road and on the track. But what better way to finish one than with a Martini Racing livery?

Word on the street is that Nissan will eventually be producing the Q50 Eau Rouge, which we first saw back at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. While the car looked pretty great at the time, we were more impressed with its shiny red paintjob than anything else.

The Final Ford Falcon XR6 + XR8: Mustang Sedan?
A few days back we saw a little tease of the final model of the Falcon XR8. Now we’ve got a full image of the car, which has had its front end heavily revamped, with a hexagonal grille and sculpted headlights making it look much like the 2015 Mustang and current-gen Fusion.

2016 Mazda2: From Frog to Prince?

2016 Mazda2: From Frog to Prince?
While the Mazda2 is a pretty solid little subcompact, it’s never been the most visually appealing car in our opinion. It always had a bit of goofy grin on its face. That changes with the just-announced 2016 Mazda2, which goes by the moniker DEMIO in Japan. The new design borrows design cues from its bigger brother like the Mazda3, Mazda6 and CX-5, dramatically updating its looks.

Audi Celebrates 25 Years of TDI Diesel Tech

Audi Celebrates 25 Years of TDI Diesel Tech
Audi introduced its first TDI engine in 1989, when diesel engines were often thought of as the proper powertrain for big trucks or, perhaps, some large sedans where efficiency was more important than performance. They were rarely considered in discussions about sports cars or racing.

Test Drive: 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport 2.0T

Test Drive: 2015 Hyundai Sonata Sport 2.0T
Back in 2011, Hyundai took their first giant leap to take the Sonata from a middle-of the-road mid-size sedan to a real contender for the best in its class. In my opinion, with the 2015 Sonata, they’ve jumped into the top echelon, along with the Chrysler 200, Kia Optima and Ford Fusion, leaving competitors like the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Nissan Altima and Chevy Malibu in the dust.
