2021 GMC Yukon Breaks Cover in Colorado

2021 GMC Yukon Breaks Cover in Colorado
While the idea of revealing the new 2021 Yukon somewhere in Canada’s Yukon territory might have been more appropriate, GMC thought it might be better to do it somewhere a little easier to get to, so they brought a bunch of us out to Vail, Colorado to raise the curtain instead. The snowy backdrop of Vail and its mountains is the perfect environment for showing off GMC’s flagship full-size SUV, which, like the brands other vehicles deftly balances between luxury and adventurousness.

2020 Toyota Highlander First Drive Review: A Handsome and Efficient Daily Driver

2020 Toyota Highlander First Drive Review: A Handsome and Efficient Daily Driver
If you go back in the rewind machine to 2001, most of the SUVs on the market were rugged, body-on-frame models which drove much more like trucks than like cars. Then, Toyota came along with the Highlander and shook up the growing segment with a vehicle that rode much more like a car or a minivan than a truck, and expanding the daily driving appeal of SUVs pretty dramatically.

Gingerbread Jeep Looks Good Enough to Eat

Gingerbread Jeep Looks Good Enough to Eat
Over the years, I’ve seen countless custom Jeep Wranglers, but I can say with certainty that this is the first one I’ve come across that was made with gingerbread and frosting. This Year One 1974 Jeep Cherokee Is a Brutish Beauty

This Year One 1974 Jeep Cherokee Is a Brutish Beauty
It’s hard to believe it, but there was once a time when the Jeep Cherokee didn’t yet exist. It first came on the scene back in 1974, as a two-door version of the Jeep Wagoneer. If you love the look of these classic 4x4s, there’s one currently for sale up on eBay, and it looks pretty sweet. Touted as the sportier alternative to the Wagoneer, the first Cherokee had a single, long window behind the B-pillar.

This 1979 Plymouth Trailduster Is Retro Fantastic

This 1979 Plymouth Trailduster Is Retro Fantastic
There was a time when 2-door, 4×4, body-on-frame SUVs were widely available. These days, pretty much all we’ve got in the US is the Jeep Wrangler, and the forthcoming Land Rover Defender 90. But if you long for something with more of a retro style, check out this 1979 Plymouth Trailduster that’s headed to the Barrett-Jackson 2020 Scottsdale auction without a reserve price. I love how this truck has basically been left in its original state, with only a few minor modifications over the course of its 40 year lifespan – specifically the removal of its running boards, and the addition of a cassette player.

2019 Audi Q8 Review: A Refined and Modern SUV
I’m the opposite of a trendsetter or even a trend-follower. Heck, I still wear flannel shirts as if Nirvana was about to top the charts again (if only). So, when I say that sporty SUVs and crossovers, are all the rage, you can rest assured that they still are in vogue.
