Mercedes Benz has announced they are ceasing production of the gullwing SLS AMG supercar. In recognition of the end of the iconic series, Mercedes is offering the SLS AMG GT Final Edition. With just 350 cars being made, the limited edition FE will include a new splitter, a large rear wing, and a black hood.

The Volkswagen CrossBlue Coupe plug-in hybrid SUV will have a turbocharged direct-injection (TSI) V6 gasoline engine alongside two electric motors for a potential 415 horsepower and a top speed of 147 mph. The coupe can be driven as a zero emissions vehicle for up to 13 miles and up to 75 mph.

Volkswagen’s e-Golf is its first fully-electric production vehicle. The unique vehicle is immediately distinguished from standard, internal combustion Golfs by its unique aluminum-alloy wheels and by its LED headlights. The interior is also updated with a new instrument cluster layout with a touchscreen display that shows a range monitor, energy flow indicator and an e-manager that allows the driver to set future departure times to ensure proper charge.

Audi has introduced a limited edition version of its A8 L sedan with a W12 engine and exclusive interior. Audi will produce just 50 of the very exclusive vehicles. The key changes are to the vehicle’s interior, which comes with aniline leather Agatha cognac color sourced from the tradition-laden Italian designer furniture maker Poltrona Frau.

First seen at the Tokyo Auto Show, Toyota is introducing a futuristic concept car: the FV2 (“Fun Vehicle 2”) Concept. This innovative vehicle has no steering wheel and relies solely on the man/machine connection for traversing the roadways.

Audi puts a 1983 Ur-Quattro up against a 2013 S3 on a gravel rally circuit. With the 1983 Audi driven by the former rally driver, Stig Blomqvist, who drove the same model in the 1980s and the S3 piloted by Hermann Müller, the race was very close.
