McLaren’s Special Operations customization group has put together a concept variant of the MP4-12C which takes the already impressive supercar and steps it up another notch, focusing efforts on reducing weight, and improving airflow and aerodynamics.

Ever wanted to get behind the wheel of a Bentley? They guys at Winding Road took a the 2013 Bentley Continental GTC V8 on a little test drive, and captured the whole thing with their driver-worn POV camera.

Designers Zac Posen and Thom Browne have each designed a unique, limited-edition Infiniti Q50 of their own which will be offered for sale on Gilt.com. The Zac Posen Q50 is painted in ombre matte-to-glossy exterior paint and the interior touches include a shagreen steering wheel along with door and center armrest trim.

This artist’s rendering of the planned Honda Civic WTCC shows Honda’s plans for its 2014 FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) car, and it looks incredible. Due to a change in the WTCC regulations for 2014, Honda is able to increase the aerodynamics along with the tire width so we also see new wheel arch extensions.

This fascinating time-lapse film shows the creation of a car, from the car’s perspective, in less than three minutes. Filmed using GoPro cameras, the crew set them up in SEAT’s Martorell production facility as they created a new Leon ST.

After years of anticipation by eager muscle car aficionados, Ford has dropped the curtain on the worst kept automotive secret in recent times, the 2015 Ford Mustang (S550). Renders and partial images of the car have circulated for over a year now, and full images were revealed earlier this week, but we’re finally getting to see the official release today, complete with high quality images, and at least partial specs on the latest generation of the iconic pony car.

Volkswagen’s high-tech XL1 is designed to provide incredibly high fuel efficiency thanks to its combination diesel/electric hybrid drivetrain. Saab, the Swedish automaker that we all thought was gone after shutting down production due to financial difficulties more than two years ago, is back. Saab’s new owners, NEVS (National Electric Vehicle Sweden AB), have restarted production at the former Saab manufacturing facility in Trollhatten, Sweden and the first new Saab 9-3 Aero has already rolled off the line.

The zippy little Nissan Juke gets colorful for this limited-edition premium package, which is highlighted by a special paintjob called “Midnight Purple IV” which can change colors depending on viewing angle. Colors range from violet to red to orange depending on where you stand and how the light hits the car.

It’s amazing what a new grille design can do to improve the aesthetics of a vehicle. Case in point: the 2015 GMC Yukon. By increasing the height and width of its chrome-accented grille, its new models look dramatically more desirable on approach than its last-gen variants.

If there’s one thing that most supercars and hypercars have in common is that they require a highly-skilled driver behind the wheel to handle their brute force – especially when steering at high speeds. While technology has definitely been used to improve traction control and handling in many modern vehicles, we wouldn’t want to suddenly jerk the wheel on most of these high-end rides at high speeds.

In recognition of the 10 year anniversary of Volkswagen entering the SUV market, the company has created a limited-production Toureg model. The Toureg X is built on the Toureg TDI Clean Diesel Lux trim, meaning it will be powered by VW’s 3.0-liter turbocharged and direct injection V-6 TDI Clean Diesel engine that makes 240 horsepower and a hefty 406 pound-feet of torque and comes with a long list of standard equipment for the Lux line.

Beginning in 2014, professional drivers and privateer motorsport teams will have the ability to purchase a BMW M235i Racing edition coupe, which is based on BMW’s production car but is ready for successful entry-level racing. The coupe comes with many modifications to make it track worthy, like a mechanical limited-slip differential, ABS, DSC and traction control to keep it safely on the road.
