Alpine SportsX Concept Is a Lifted and Widened A110

Alpine SportsX Concept Is a Lifted and Widened A110
I’ve always wanted one of those concept sports cars that was lifted a bit and tricked out for rally racing. I think they’re some of the cooler looking vehicles out there, even if they’re not the most nimble on a paved track.

Alpine A110 Pure is the Lightest Yet, A110 Légende the Heaviest
If you’re a track day hound, and also happen to live in a country where you can buy the Alpine A110 mid-engine sports car, a new version is coming that you’ll want to know about. The car is called the A110 Pure, and it’s meant to be the purest and lightest version of the A110, which should mean the best performing – and maybe the most affordable. The car will use the same 252 hp 1.8L

Alpine Première Edition Sports Car Teased
A new teaser video has turned up that shows Alpine’s new Porsche 718 Cayman competitor slip-sliding away. Sadly, the car is covered in camo so we can’t really see what it looks like. What we know right now is that the Alpine Première will be RWD and have around 250 hp in a package that is 660 pounds lighter than the already light Cayman, so it should be a beast. Renault has made no secret of the fact that it wants to bring the Alpine brand back to Europe to compete with the Audi TT and Porsche Boxster.

You may recall earlier this month some images of what was thought to be a Renault concept car for the Gran Turismo 6 video game leaked. As it turns out that car has launched under the Alpine name, but it’s the same car we saw in those leaked photos before.

Awesome Car Pic: Alpine A110
This beautiful blue berlinetta style sports coupe is something you don’t often see – at least not here in the States. French automaker Alpine manufactured various incarnations of its rear-engined, rear-wheel drive A110 coupe all the way from 1961 to 1977, building its custom cars using primarily Renault components.
